The AECMM recognises an ARAID project in nanotechnology for metastasic breast cancer

ARAID researcher Alberto Jiménez Schuhmacher, from the Aragon Health Research Institute, has been awarded at the 7th M. Chiara Giorgetti Awards by the Spanish Metastatic Breast Cancer Association (AECMM) for a project focused on the development of new nanotechnology-based therapeutic strategies.

Participation in the Antibiotics Congress 2026

On 7 May, the scientific meeting "Male Breast Cancer: Clinical Management and Advances in Research" was held in Zaragoza. The session brought together more than 60 healthcare professionals, researchers, patient associations and affected individuals, with the aim of updating knowledge and strengthening multidisciplinary coordination in the management of this rare condition.

The Water Safety Symposium: Emerging Contaminants and Innovative Approaches to Water Purification, held from 6 to 8 May 2026 in Benasque, gathered 40 researchers and professionals interested in current challenges related to water safety, emerging contaminants and innovative purification strategies. ARAID researchers Filomena Silva and Jonas Gurauskis were members of both the Scientific Committee and the Organising Committee, contributing to the design of the scientific programme and the coordination of the event.
