During the conversation, Alberto Jiménez Schuhmacher discussed several initiatives in which he is involved, including the SARA project, the Chiara Giorgetti Award, the Carrera por la Vida (Race for Life) and the Centinela project. These examples highlighted the importance of collaboration between researchers, social organisations, patient associations and public institutions in driving scientific progress and improving cancer care.
