Zaragoza hosts a workshop on innovation in precision medicine and advanced therapies

The workshop, organised by the Aragon Health Research Institute (IIS Aragón) in collaboration with Palex, brought together experts to analyse the current state of precision medicine and advanced therapies, as well as the key challenges facing this field in both scientific and healthcare contexts.

During the event, Diego Sánchez contributed both as a speaker and through his involvement in the organisation, taking part in a programme focused on knowledge exchange and the discussion of personalised treatments and innovative therapeutic strategies. Events of this kind help bridge the gap between research and clinical practice, fostering collaboration between researchers and healthcare professionals.

The workshop also addressed Aragón’s position in this emerging field and explored opportunities and challenges associated with the advancement of personalised medicine, an area aimed at improving treatment effectiveness through patient‑specific approaches.
