International experts in chemical looping gather in Manchester

The 8th International Conference on Chemical Looping, held from 31 August to 4 September 2026 in Manchester, will bring together researchers from around the world working in this field. ARAID researcher Daofeng Mei will participate with both an oral presentation and a poster showcasing the latest results of his research.

The International Conference on Chemical Looping is widely recognised as the leading international event in this research area, bringing together specialists working on technologies related to energy conversion, industrial decarbonisation and the development of sustainable solutions for future energy systems.

In this edition, organised by the University of Manchester and the University of Cambridge, Daofeng Mei will present two scientific contributions through an oral presentation and a poster. These contributions will highlight recent advances from his research activities and provide an opportunity to discuss new approaches and results with the international scientific community working in the field of chemical looping.
