CMN 2026 promotes analysis and simulation in engineering
ARAID researcher Pedro Alexandre Lopes de Sousa Martins participated as a speaker in the Congress on Numerical Methods in Engineering (CMN 2026), held from 1 to 3 July 2026 in Gijón (Spain), where he delivered an oral presentation in the field of computational engineering.
The CMN 2026 conference is a biennial event jointly organised by the Spanish Society of Computational Mechanics and Computational Engineering and the Portuguese Association of Theoretical, Applied and Computational Mechanics, bringing together national and international researchers and professionals specialising in numerical methods and simulation.
In this context, Pedro Martins delivered an oral presentation, contributing to the exchange of advances in applied computational engineering. Conferences of this kind provide a platform to share research results, compare methodologies and explore new tools for analysing and modelling complex systems.
Hosting the conference in Gijón also encourages interaction among researchers from different fields, strengthening scientific collaboration and promoting the development of new research lines in engineering. This type of forum supports the application of advanced methodologies across different technological fields and contributes to the progress of numerical engineering.
