Participation in the CYPHER 3rd General Meeting

The COST Action CYPHER focuses on the study of the chemistry of renewable and synthetic fuels, combining different research approaches, including experimental work, kinetic model development, data management and computational fluid dynamics simulations. In this contesxt, Hans Heinrich Carstensen is a member of Working Group 1, which is dedicated to the development of detailed kinetic mechanisms for these fuels.

During the meeting, the researcher presented his work on key chemical reactions involved in ammonia combustion, which are also relevant to certain industrial processes, such as those related to the paper industry. This line of research contributes to improving the understanding of chemical processes underpinning new, more sustainable energy strategies.

Participation in international forums of this kind strengthens the international visibility of research carried out by ARAID and its integration into European scientific networks working in key areas related to the energy transition and industrial sustainability.
